Perhaps I should tell him that I come from a wealthy background and have samurai ancestors maybe he'd show me the same courtesy. To Mitsuhide's credit I always thought you had a bout of nobility within you. I think it's the way you speak. I'm not familiar with English, it's just something I was forced to speak but there's something about the way that you talk and hold yourself that made me think you might be some kind of wizard noble when were first getting to know each other.

Oh, yes. Tenkai. You should try living with all that nonsense.

My sincerest condolences. Even though death is not permanent it is... unpleasant. And it lingers with you. I actually felt quite guilty about it all, which is an unusual feeling for me. But I did say I'd keep an eye on your son while he worked for me and then he went missing. Of course he could have been snatched from anywhere. But well... I am no parent, well, I was kind of one for a few months, that's a very complicated story and I don't think I learned anything about parenting either. But I don't think it's a good idea to linger on the I could haves and I should haves. What could you have done for your son? No more than all the others concerned about their friends and loved ones. It's unrealistic to watch his every step and it's the unfortunate truth that terrible things will happen here. I think all we can do for those we care about is be with them when it's over. That's what you're doing for Draco now, correct? That's all you can do as a parent in this horrible situation.

Surely taking a reactive stance isn't the most appealing but until the Witch is dead or until we can predict how this world works I think it's all we can do.

That's just my take on the whole matter. I wouldn't sell yourself short. In my opinion, I think you're doing an excellent job.

And thank you. Yes, I am aware. He can take all the time he needs. I do understand the dying and being unable to do things for a while after.

Oh! A Naga. Well. I imagine that will take time getting used to. I'll be in touch with him and he can start work again whenever he's ready. Clearly he's dealing with quite a bit.
