[Kira nearly catches the marks but he's a tad bit distracted. As he moves towards the door his gaze follows not really Josuke, but his wings. He's said it before but he thinks they're quite unique. He kind of wants to touch one.

That it something he's asked to do before but then Josuke made a lewd comment about him flirting with him and it soured the whole moment. Do they feel like paper or plastic? They look incredibly thin so maybe they feel like wax paper. And do the thin veins running through them in such intricate patterns feel like anything at all?

So many questions... He actually does make to touch one but Josuke's wings flutter a bit and that puts a silent end to it. He doesn't want to accidentally poke a hole through one with his claws.

Instead he clears his throat, continuing the conversation] I haven't gone to the temple in many years but I remember doing so when I was younger. Prayers for a new year. Getting your fortune... That makes me wish I had designed my café to be a bit more traditional looking. I didn't think business would be good if I didn't go for modern. There are still things I could do though. [Making plans for another year in Ryslig doesn't feel incredibly great but he really has no choice. The least he can do is try and be a little positive about it all even if it's scraping together old memories from home and making them something tangible.
