Personality:
A quiet peaceful life is what most hope to obtain in their existence. For Kira Yoshikage, it’s an absolute reality to him. There is a day to day routine to follow, from morning to night. If all the steps are followed another fantastic and peaceful day has passed. There isn’t much that can get in the way of such a life, only Kira’s own, understandably, human error. And should such a quip occur, should someone interrupt that quiet life, should someone threaten it, well, they can be taken care of quite easily. They can be removed from existence.
And life goes on. Quiet. And peaceful.
There are no weaknesses to this lifestyle. I shall explain and start from the beginning.
Kira Yoshikage has always worked exceptionally hard to appear average. From his earliest days he’s strove for mediocre placements in the world. His shelves are littered with third place prizes. Just enough talent to win but not enough to take the gold. No one pays attention to third place but it is a place that shows you have just enough talent. Such mediocrity stretches into adulthood where he works as a humble salary man. If you ask his employers they will inform you that Kira is a good worker. He does what’s asked of him. Nothing more or less. Dozens of people have worked harder and got promoted ahead of him but dozens have been fired for not working as hard as him. He sits contently in the middle doing more than enough but not enough at the same time. He’s just an average man with no ambition, or so it seems.
He’s a handsome man and is asked about quite often around the workplace. He’s polite and charming but not flirtatious towards women or men. When his female coworkers ask about the handsome man the other males in the office laugh. He’s a boring guy, they say. He’s got no ambition or drive. He’s not worth dating. So they skitter off to find someone else. He gets forgotten.
And that, dear friends, is key to having a quiet peaceful life. Go unnoticed. Become unremarkable. It doesn’t matter if you have looks or charms. It can be forgotten about if you seem to be lacking drive and boring.
Kira Yoshikage doesn’t have any interest in those women anyway. Not in that state, at least. If I may be so bold, I’d like to brag that Kira has had dozens of girlfriends. This number might seem high but I swear I speak the truth when I say the number of girlfriends he’s had is well into the forties. Forty different girlfriends? Extraordinary! Surely so many exs would cause damage to that peaceful life, yes? No. Not at all. You see, there is no need to deal with exs in Kira’s case. The unwanted girlfriends are completely wiped away when they start to stink. Yes. After a few weeks they just rot! The smell is unbearable. It truly is a vile experience. You’re trying to have a nice sandwich in the park with your girlfriend and she is just causing a quite literal stink.
Perhaps some elaboration is in order. Kira has had many girlfriends, this is an undeniable fact. But not a single one of them has been a living breathing woman. That would not make for a good quiet life. A shame for women are pretty things. Especially the ones with ugly souls. They seem the most intoxicatingly beautiful. He seeks out these vile women and shows them his true nature. It’s so wonderful to show who he really is to them, even if they can only experience it for a moment. But what a fantastic moment it is. He wraps his hands around their throat and crushes their windpipes with such precision and skill. It’s a moment of euphoria for them both, he’s sure. Well. Then she’s dead but she leaves her most valuable assets behind. Her hands. He only takes one, having two would feel like cheating. So he takes the hand, obliterates the body and goes on his way. His new girlfriend quite literally in hand. He takes them everywhere, he buys them extravagant jewelry. He treats them well. But they sadly don’t last forever. Most relationships based on nothing but lust don’t stand the test of time. A sad fate but life goes on, for him at least. He obliterates the hand from existence and then goes on his way, hoping to find another lucky lady soon enough.
How does he remove all this evidence? How do these bodies and hands just vanish from the face of the earth? It’s called a Stand power. It comes in all sizes and shapes with a wide range of abilities. Stands are said to take form of the soul representing what is in your heart. It’s what makes Killer Queen such a fascinating thing to speak of and it gives a clear window into the true heart of this vicious man.
Killer Queen has a very obvious cat shape. A cat which represents a sense of companionship or at least a desire for one. That cat also has the ability to destroy anything. It can turn anything into a bomb and wipe away it’s existence as if that thing was never there to begin with. Such a contradictory look for such a power but explains the inner workings of this man’s heart and soul so precisely. The desire to have something meaningful but also the desire to destroy it. You could say that this man might be quite sick. You probably wouldn’t be wrong. The mental gymnastics that are done when he is feeling something for another human being are astounding in every sense of the word.
Due to the trouble making children of Morioh, Kira found himself in a situation where he was quite literally wearing the shoes of someone else and attempting to fit into their life. A life that happened to have a wife and a very awful child. Shinobu, was this woman’s name and the more Kira mimicked this life the more he tended to accidentally kindle a marriage that was on the cusp of falling apart before his arrival. Every moment he was around her he fought the urge of strangling her while also finding a deep need to protect her from the oddities that were occurring around them. Letting her die would cause attention to be pulled towards him which would cause him to get caught. He had to protect her. It wasn’t because he cared about her he was just protecting himself. This is what he had to tell himself. To remind himself. He had to twist and mutilate of his own feelings because he could not grasp the concept of caring for another person.
His stand suits him so perfectly. A deep seated desire to have some kind of living breathing companionship which is overtaken by that deep seated and overwhelming urge to destroy it.
Kira Yoshikage is a smart man though. His stand ability has made his life easy. There are no victims bodies when he kills so there is no threat of being caught. No one can see Killer Queen and no one notices him. Life is simple and quiet. Although when life is like that it is easier to make mistakes if one isn’t paying attention. A shame for he is incredibly intelligent, calculating, and smart. As his journey to regain order of his life he acquired other portable stands that he can mix with Killer Queen’s ability, Stray Cat and his deceased father’s stand Atom Heart Father. With all these abilities at his disposal, Kira uses quick, calculated geometry on the spot to predict where his bombs, which he cannot see, blow up his targets. No one expects this from a man who seems so average. But Kira has a mind that is incredibly sharp when it is not under fire. He slips up mostly when he feels pressured. Having successfully killed woman for over fifteen years without anyone so much as looking his way, he is not experienced with the pressures of being caught. And he is in a position where that is nearly the case several times, causing him to create an even more unfortunate circumstances for himself. Admitting he could see stands to his enemies by accident, drowning a child that he was mimicking the father of, babbling about the first time he got an erection to the paramedics while you’re moments away from being caught by the town’s stand users. Incredibly unfortunate accidents.
If only everyone could understand that he simply wants a quiet peaceful life. He doesn’t want to be noticed by people. He only wants to find the truly ugly hearted women in the world and allow them to experience his own deep and vile nature. He simply wants to have lunch with his girlfriend and buy her things. He wants to feel that incredible feeling of almost companionship. Is it so wrong? Is it so terrible? You’d think it was some kind of crime, well it is, but having a peaceful life is not.
There is a very important thing that must be noted. It seems silly but it is key to understanding this poor man. He doesn’t just kill for the fun of it. It’s true! Yes, forty plus woman in fifteen years is only three or so women a year. And a hand doesn’t last all that long. If you’d believe it, Kira is single a majority of the time. He has a method on how and when to kill woman. It’s very simple. Occasionally, Kira’s fingernails will grow at an alarmingly fast rate. So he clips them short and methodically places them in a bottle. Every month has a new bottle and there is a notebook that keeps track of how man nail clippings there are. If there are a great deal of nail clippings during that month that means his luck will be extremely good and it’s a fantastic chance to find a new girlfriend. It’s very methodical and neat. It’s precise as all the things in his life are. From his morning routine to his evening exercises. There is a method and plan to all things. There has to be. For a quiet and peaceful life it’s a must. When things are not peaceful a different urge overcomes him. And that is to bite his perfect nails he treats with such care and love. It’s not just a bit of biting it’s a full of tearing of his nails that causes the skin to bleed. A nervous habit he’s had since he was a child.
The cost of losing his precious quiet life means losing everything. There is no cost too high to keep desired existence in tact. And those that threaten to ruin it are destroyed without hesitation or remorse. He’s blown up and attempted to murder high schoolers for daring to utter how they’d out him. And he’s willing to completely torture someone if they threaten it. A young boy saw one of his hands and he mocked that child until his last breath. It was justly deserved for threatening his life. Oh, he told that child how he’d kill his family. That pitiful sack of flesh went into the afterlife screaming in agony. And another young boy who taunted about learning his name. Well, he had his faithful stand punch a hole right through that ugly child. He promised to torture that child and he did, slamming his head into the ground a few times just to get his point across.
My point, there is no one he won’t destroy and erase from this world if it means his own safety.
Thankfully, most of the world sees him as an average salary man. Who dresses nice and is charming and polite to all. He stays out of trouble and works hard enough to get by. Clearly a boring guy so many don’t bother with him. He doesn’t have friends or any girlfriends as far as the public eyes is concerned. It suits him just fine. He can walk through crowds and not attract anyone. He sees billboards and hears on the radio about missing woman and how families are looking and worried and he dismisses them all without any hint of remorse. There is no trace of guilt in his heart. He sleeps soundly every night and is a seemingly happy man.
The cost of quiet and peaceful life, it’s next to nothing for Kira Yoshikage.

He checked his watch. Ah, that’s right. He didn’t have one anymore. He didn’t have a watch. Or his cell phone. Or his STAND. Instinctively his fingers moved towards his lips, his teeth seeking out his own nails to bite on.
He was… a little stressed. A little on edge. And having an incredibly hard time here. How was he supposed to have a quiet life? How could he ever be at ease and be happy? How was he ever going to be able to sleep peacefully again? For the first time in his life he was without anyone. Even after his father passed his stand still remained and had guided him in times of desperate need. Even after his first kill, his father had been there and helped. Not so much encouraged but ensured that he’d be fine. He would always be fine.
This? This right here. Right now. This was not fine.
Kira winced as his tooth caught the skin, tearing into the flesh. He did always bite his nails till they bled and with the amount of stress he’d gone under this past week there was little time for his own hands to heal.
Deep breaths. Be calm. Everything would turn around for him eventually. He was a pretty lucky guy after all. He just needed to get settled. Maybe find some allies. Find a friend or something close to that. He could make friends. He was a very charming person. Lots of people liked him at work.
The blond reached into his pocket for a handkerchief which he used to wipe up the blood from his self inflicted injury. He had an appointment at the tailor and he had half a dozen hand written resumes to hand out to various shop owners. Once he had a job and made some money he could get his own place. And then slowly form a quiet peaceful life here. It was not ideal, it never would be. But at least he’d stop losing sleep over being here.
Handkerchief pocketed, tie adjusted, hair slicked back a bit. He was ready to go. But first, the tailor.
She was a, well, a monster. That was another concerning thing. He was trying to get used to it. The woman monster offered him a toothy smile, one full of fangs and other unappealing things and slithered off to get his custom order.
“It was a wonderful challenge. Not to many people here need pants anymore so I always have a fun time making them. And the color you picked is one of my favorites. I think this shade of violet will be exquisite on you.” she spoke loudly from the back room.
“Purple does happen to be my color. I was thinking of investing in pink as well.” To remember Killer Queen by. Not that he’d forget his precious stand in a million years.
“Pink!” She cooed, peeking back at him with a delighted smile on her scaly face. “I love it!”
He offered a smile of his own in return. Fake as it was she seemed giddy about it.
This place made him feel tired… None of these monster hands were even remotely attractive. All scaly… all hairy...
“Here you are.” She slithered back, holding up the finished product. Yes. It looked quite nice. They weren’t his favorite buttons but beggars could not be choosers in this place. He just had to deal with it.
“Very good.” he agreed, looking over the cuffs at other minor details. “Do you do all garments for suits? Ties as well?”
“I’ve never done a tie before.” She admitted, golden eyes fixated on him. She was… gross. “I’m willing to try. Maybe if you allowed me to borrow the one you’re wearing now.”
His current tie? He glanced down a bit to see the black and yellow stripes, intricately detailed with cat skills. Someone would quite literally have to pry this tie away from his corpse. “I think not… It’s my only one. If you can’t it’s quite alright. This one will do. A great tailor such as yourself should be able to make one without needing something to imitate, don’t you agree?”
The scaly creature’s forked tongue flicked out for a moment before she turned her whole body away from him. “Well, I mean… if you think I’m that talented.”
She was a decent tailor at best but she was all he had. He needed her to make him nice clothes. Maybe he could push his luck further and get her to help him find a decent place to live and a job. And maybe, just maybe… if he ever lost his sanity enough to find those disgusting scaly claws attractive, she’d wind up his first lover here.
A monster handed girlfriend? Kira shuddered a bit at his own thoughts. If only Killer Queen could erase stupid imagery in your head. Ah, if only Killer Queen were here…
“I must be off but I do thank you for this. How much was the agreed upon price…?” He asked, digging into his pockets.
“O-oh. Yes. Well, you’re new here, right? How about, until you get settled, I’ll help you out with nice clothing. You can pay me back later? We all have a hard time adjusting at first.”
“How gracious of you.” He offered a charming smile while analyzing the words she’d just spoken to him. We all have a hard time adjusting at first. W-What did that mean? He didn’t want to draw any wild conclusions but… He shook his head and took the freshly made suit from her. “I will be back for certain. You have certainly earned my future patronage.” He turned to go noting her fang filled smile and gross claws that waved goodbye to him.
Disgusting. Everything here was so disgusting. All these beasts and other vile things… He’d only seen a handful of actual human looking women and they didn’t suit his tastes here at all. Was he, Kira Yoshikage, really going to be stuck in this backwards monster town with no girlfriend for the rest of his life? Was his life really never going to be quiet and peaceful? Outrageous. Unacceptable.
His fingers had somehow found their way back into his mouth, the flesh easily giving way as he tore into himself again. He’d find a way. He simply had to. He’d find a way to live the life he deserved. No one would ever stop him from getting his quiet life. He may not have Killer Queen but he had other skills, other talents… surely he could find a way. He had to.
For the first time in his life he was truly concerned about his future. Sure, he’d had tough breaks with Josuke’s gang but he’d never felt the situation was too out of hand. He’d always been able to fix it with his stand. But, with no stand, and his father completely void from his life now it left him feeling… scared. Truly and completely right down to his core.
What exactly was he going to do?
