An elegant café experience

The Kit-Tea-Kat is a twilight to dawn café run by Kira Yoshikage in downtown Bavan. You can enjoy all the expectations of a local coffee shop while experiencing the comfort of home. The first café was opened in Taiwan and has since become a huge hit in Asia. This luxury is now available to the residents of Ryslig, both monster and human alike.

What is a cat café exactly, you ask? Well, it's quite simple. You drink your tea and have a lovely warm meal while in the company of wonderful animals that may entertain you with their natural kitty antics or perhaps spend the hour by your side. Here at the Kit-Tea-Kat café you'll find a wonderful dining experience as well as comfort. We truly hope you enjoy yourself at our cozy little café

While this is a monster run establishment we do not serve anything but genuine food here. And so that no food goes to waste at the end of each work day we will offer up leftovers of the day to hungry monsters and humans alike. Getting started here is no easy thing and we here at Kit-Tea-Kat understand.

( Dinner ) Dinner is from 6 pm to 11 pm every night. Our dinners are light but warm. We can make a wide variety of soups. As well as quiches, casseroles and salads.	( Lunch ) Lunch is served froom 11 pm to 2 am and offers an array of light and warm sandwiches offering a wide variety of meats and vegetables as well as breads. Sandwiches can be served cold or warmed depending on the guest's request.


( Breakfast ) Breakfast is served from 2 am till 6am and all kinds of dishes are served. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage. You simply have to name the item and it can be made for you. This is our guarantee.	( Desserts ) Desserts are served all day long. We have a wide variety of cakes, pies, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, and many others. All freshly baked daily. If we do not have what you're looking for at the time we can make it fresh, so long as you're willing to wait.


( Drinks ) We have several different brews of coffee as well as fresh tea leaves. Simply ask to see what we have in stock. We also make cappuccinos, lattes and many other modern day drinks. Along side tea and coffee there is juice, milk and hot chocolate. We do not sell alcohol. [ Poor Kosaku.

He holds the cat away from him, by the scruff of its neck. The cat doesn't seem to like him at all, constantly hissing and spitting at him. Obviously, the smell of death doesn't seem to make the feline anymore inclined to like him. Mitsuhide wonders if he breathes his rotting breath on it that it'd calm the beast down -- or at least knock it out.

But he walks up the stairs to the apartment and knock on the door. ]

[Well, there was only one person that could be. Reluctantly Kira answered the door but on the other side was a nice surprise.]

Cat. [Instantly he reached out to take it from the other. He knew the moment his fingers brushed the soft fur that this wasn't his cat but... It was something. After all, from what he'd been hearing it was highly likely that he'd never see his stand again. He of course was hopeful but...]

You really went out to find me a cat. [He should have known Mitsuhide would but he was just unaccustomed to having others do something for him. Something like this. A cat. It was really a cat.]

[ He allows the hissing feline to go into Kira's hands with a small tilt of his head and wide-deranged smile. One may note that he isn't actually breathing. But that is what he promised, too, right? He would not breathe his rotting breath and would not breathe as he gave the cats to Kira to look over.

Mitsuhide tilts his head at the statement. He points to Kira then lifts his pointed finger to gesture toward his mouth before turning the hand back to point toward himself. Kira told me too, didn't he? At this point, he would have started his giggling. But did he say he wouldn't? He can't recall. Ah, well. He looks happily at Kira's face so that he doesn't forget it.

It wasn't a ruse to be able to look at his face, either. Mitsuhide sometimes does forget important things if he isn't careful. If he isn't careful, black pieces end up in his memory even if he doesn't die. If he forgets what Kira looks like, would he accidentally attack him if he should see him in the house later? A hilarious thought! A really funny thought! But Kira probably would not appreciate it and hold onto those hard feelings until he made himself sick -- like before.

So, it's for Kira's own good, isn't it? Probably? ]

[Cat in hand, he looks it over completely. No, this certainly isn't Killer Queen. He can completely confirm this on a much closer inspection. Either way... he holds it close, allowing the animal to nuzzle into his shoulder.]

Unfortunately... this isn't Killer Queen. But I thank you for your efforts. And for...[Mitsuhide was serious about not talking to him more than that one conversation, like they agreed. This was technically a conversation or at least it shouldn't be counted against the quota. Mitsuhide was doing a favor for him after all.] And for keeping your promise, I guess. There are exceptions, you know. But maybe that's too difficult to hash out. This is fine I suppose.

[ No?

He does not breathe out a sigh but he closes his eyes and looks for a moment dejected. Holding out his hands, he flexes his fingers to indicate that he would be more than happy to take the cat and replace it with some new feline that hopefully will be "Killer Queen."

His eyebrows lift a little. Exceptions? A small tilt of his head, rubbing his antlers against his shoulder, he drops one arm unceremoniously -- like a wire being cut -- and the other hand turns to lightly point to the ground. "This is an exception?" ]

[Kira takes a step back, keeping the cat away from Mitsuhide. Just because this isn't Killer Queen doesn't mean anything. He'll just hang onto it for a while.]

Yes. You're doing me a favor and in this particular case we should be able to talk freely to make communication easier. Use your best judgement in certain situations. Or... I'll let you know if it's okay. That would probably be easier. And right now, it's okay.

[ There is an almost unreadable expression when Kosaku says that he should use his "best judgement." He relaxes when Kosaku says that he will let him know that it will be all right. ]

Thank you, Kosaku. [ What to talk about? Ah? ] Are you settling in all right? Living quietly and peacefully? [ Mitsuhide remembers. He holds onto pieces in the pit that is his memory. ]

Living quietly and peacefully? [Hardly. He wanted to talk about how miserable he was. How he was lacking everything. His life as Yoshikage was ruined. His life as Kosaku was ruined. And now he was here in a place he didn't belong. And worse, worse was his stand was ripped away from him and some horrible curse was going to fall upon him sometime soon. It was awful and dreadful and he couldn't possibly get a good nights rest with that kind of fate looming over him. But he didn't say any of that. He simply clutched the cat in his arms a little tighter. It wouldn't do any good and it this was not exactly the kind of person he wanted to see any more of him. He'd appeared weak enough as it was.]

Yes. Very quaint. I have a job offer in the next town over next week. If I am able to obtain it, I may not be troubling you anymore. I'll let you know how it goes.

You'll be leaving?

[ His eyes widen just a little. He gives a small tilt of his head as he steps forward. Mitsuhide will be worried about Kosaku. Very worried. Josuke spoke to him. Rohan spoke to him. He isn't hiding proper. But if he says something like that, if he does, will not Kosaku get mad? ]

Before you leave... will you let me know if I have made up things to you?

If I get the job, yes.

[Kira really can't understand. He probably will never understand. Mitsuhide seems to care for him and that's not a concept he can comprehend. There's never been a person in the world that has felt that way about him. And he doesn't like it. He doesn't like the attention. The concern. He hates it. Again he backs up, ready to shut the door in Mitsuhide's face as this conversation was becoming too much for him.]

Yes. I will let you know. It'd be rude to just leave without saying anything.

I understand.

[ Kosaku. Kira is an adult. Yes, yes.

Mitsuhide breathes out a small sigh. He hopes that before that he leaves that Kira would properly beat him with something. Or berate him. It's the most he can hope for since he cannot make sure that this poor man is safe on his own. He allows a look of concern before stepping back. ]

I shall find you more cats.

I look forward to it. Hopefully you can find that my Killer Queen.

[He shut the door quickly, feeling uncomfortable and many other things that didn't need to be named or thought on. He was tired despite not doing much of anything. He would very much like to go back to Morioh... His fake life. His real life. He'd take either...

Carefully he set the cat down on the floor looking it over carefully as it sniffed around. He couldn't take care of all the cats that Mitsuhide brought him but... he'd keep this one. And maybe the next one. And... maybe a third.]
